Ryan turns to Bergert in the bid to avoid sweep by Padress Dozers

After making three strong starts in succession, San Diego Padress crook Right-Hand Ryan Burgart will get the biggest test of his young career when he would pitch on the road against Los Angeles Dojers on Thursday night.

Los Angeles has won five consecutive matches and the Padress and San Francisco have increased by 7–2 in the 10-game stretch against opponents in the veterans.

Dozers will send Right-Hander Yoshinobbu Yamamoto (6-5, 2.64 ERA) to the mound after a thick outing on Thursday. On Friday, he gave five runs to the veterans to lose 6–2 and tied a season high for more than five five walks in 4 2/3 innings.
