Ryan Parag’s old tweet goes viral after 6 sixes in IPL 2025

Kolkata Knight Riders kept their IPL 2025 playoffs alive with a thrilling victory over Rajasthan Royals on Sunday at the Eden Gardens. Opposing the bat, KKR posted a total number of 206/4 in 20 overs, in which Andre Russell returned his form and killed 57* off 25 balls. Later, RR won almost a stunning win, but KKR bounced back and won the match by just one run. The biggest star for RR was his Captain Ryan Parag, who scored 95 runs from 45 balls and presented his side in hunting.

During his 95-run knock, the parag also had a ‘Dream Kams True’ moment when he hit six back-to-back sixes. In the 13th over of RR Chase, Parag hit five consecutive sixes with Moen Ali as KKR all -rounder scored 32 runs.

Later on the second delivery of the 14th over, Parag hit another six with Varun Chakarwarthi and completed his timids.

This moment became a special for parague two years ago, before the start of IPL 2023, the Assam-based cricketer shared a post on X (East Twitter), where he revealed about hitting four sixes in an over.

Two years later, he achieved more than his expression as he went to hit six-back-to-back sixes.

Despite playing a memorable knock, RR, who already ended with the playoff race, faced a run defeat on KKR.

“I was planning to live up to the last 2 overs, but unfortunately I was out in the 18th over. It was a miscalcol from my side. I think we could get a better option in the last 6 overs. Perhaps other bowling options. No one to complain, but we could not finish it. We could do something else in the post-match.

“He (Russell) was 2 runs off 10 balls and the way he had intensified after that was very good to see. It’s a field where sixes are killed. The wicket was a bit difficult, so I had to take my fight. I think I thought I did it very well, until I am telling myself that he is not as an interview (“, “
