Ruki Nick Sanchez Score First NASCAR XFINITY Series Wins

Hampton, Ga. – Nick Sanchez accused the front after restarting with seven laps in focused health 250 and closed Sunoco Rookie Carson Kvapil on Friday to secure the victory of his first NASCAR XFINITY series.

Sanchez, who ralled with a spin through Frontistch Grass on Ecopark Speedway on Lap 68, lost the top position for JC Love on the final restarted at Lap 157 of 163, but he returned it to the following circuit.

Sanchez spent the next five laps to do everything in his power, so that he could place Kavapil behind him. This victory earned a berth in the exfinity series playoffs to 24 -year -old from Miami.

“This is a weight lifted from my shoulders, sure,” Sanchez said after climbing his car on Fondstrate. “Now we can go to chase checker flags.”

Quapil was ranked third -placed Finisher Sam Mayor, fourth place in front of Connor Zilisk and fifth -place Taylor Gray, as he chased Sanchez on closing laps, trying to find a way around the race winner.

“This is that Close actually sting,” Quapil said, which began from behind the ground after unpublished adjustment to its No. 1 JR Motorsports Chevrolet. “I could not really produce a run there. I didn’t feel that we had a tail and nose of enough cars to be organized.

For his share, the Sanchez was lucky that his number 48 Big Machine Racing Chevrolet caused a minimum damage on the slide through the grass, making the fourth of the nine warnings.

“I am still a little embarrassed about this,” said Sanchez. “It was definitely a crook mistake, but we retaliated.”

It was after midnight when Sanchez took the checker flag for some threatening weather near the 1.54-mile track. Lightning forced NASCAR to stop the race after 36 laps.

After a delay of 1 hour, 18 minutes, 55 seconds, the race resumed. Sheldon Creed, who led 37 laps before the pole, tried to flip the platform by beating under caution after the resumption, but the strategy returned.

After a restart on lap 41, backstrate was one of the 10 drivers involved in a large -scale debris in moments. Change Jesse Love in traffic near the front of Sankhez’s Sampark Maidan.

Love’s Chevrolet collided with Ryan Seig Ford, turning it into a outside wall. A broken axle abolished the number 39 RSS Racing Ford of the Seag. Other victims included series leaders Justin Olgier, who came out of the race in 31st, Sammy Smith, Catherine Leg, Patrick Staropoli, Jeb Burton and Christian Actes.

Credit with 32nd place was tolerated by her fifth DNF (not finished) in the last nine races and sixth of the season.

“It was probably the best car I was throughout the year,” Creed said after leaving the Infield Care Center. “Just really rapid, can control the lane and really liked the front. So we were just trying to put ourselves in front by short-painting there, and did not work.”

Note: Sanchez led 32 laps, which was in Eric Almarola’s 48 and 37 of Creed. … nine warnings ran under yellow for 58 laps. … The mayor was the only non-rake to finish in the top five. … Love, Almarola, Daniel Dye, Kyle Seig and Jeremy Clement finished sixth through 10th respectively, … Austin Hill, Ecopark was trying to win their fourth direct victory in the ecopark speedway, lost six lapses with fuel pickup issues and finished 26th.
