RR’s ‘Terileable’ Super Over Call VS DC bash by India’s World Cup winning Star: “Litely a walk over”

Rajasthan Royals were brutally redeemed after the former Indian cricket team lost against Delhi Capital in IPL 2025 matches on Wednesday. The match became an interesting as it became the first game of the season to go to the super over. Chasing 189, the RR was limited to 188/4 in 20 overs as the match went into a super over, where DC won just four balls. It was DC’s fifth win in six matches, while it was the fifth defeat for RR after seven matches.
In the super over, Shimron Hetmier and Ryan Parag opened the proceedings for RR and the pair can only manage to post 11/2 against DC’s Mitchell Starc.
Srikanth criticized RR for sending Hetmyer and Parag in the super over instead of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Nitish Rana.
“Such a terrible decision by RR was wrong before the first super over combination, you have a player who was dangerous against Stark and you sent two batsmen who were struggling, it was really a walk for DC!

In particular, Jaiswal and Rana did a good outing with the bat during the chase as the two scored 51 runs and kept RR in the game. On the other hand, Parag and Hetmyer struggled against DC’s bowling lineup as former scored 8 runs in 11 balls, while later scored 15* off only 9 balls.
“We really bowled well. When they came to us hard, I would like to give credit to my bowlers and fielders. Energy on the ground was fantastic. I felt the score was given a batting lineup, which we had. The beginning we had got in the powerplay, I felt that it was definitely a fascinating score.
“I think as we all saw some great bowling by Starci. He is one of the best people in the world. I would like to give it to Starcie. He won the game in the 20th over. The plan had to work hard. I think (Sandeep) has been bowling the most difficult overs for us in the last few years. A victory was in the dressing room today.”
