Royals placed LHP Daniel Lynch IV (elbow) in the 15-day injured list

The Census City Royals left the left-handed Daniel Lynch IV in the 15-day injured list on Sunday as the left elbow nervous irritation.

In the same move, the Royals recalled the right-handed Jonathan Balon from Triple-e Omaha.

28-year-old Lynch held a scorer innings of relief on Saturday and Arizona Diamondback allowed two walks with a strike in the 7–1 road damage.

He is 3–2 with a sev, a 2.59 ERA, 22 walks and 29 strikeouts in 41 2/3 in innings 39 games (two beginnings).

Royals selected Lynch in the first round (34th composite) of the 2018 MLB draft out of Virginia University. He saves two with 16–25, one 4.62 ERA, 135 walks and 279 strikeouts 337 in innings in 106 games (56 beginnings) in parts of five sessions.

The 28-year-old Balon, this season, has a 12 relief performance for the Census City, 1–1 with a 3.00 ERA, seven walks and 12 strikes. It is a career of 1-3 with 4.35 ERA, 10 walks and 18 strikes in 20 2/3 innings in 15 games (two beginnings) in parts of three sessions.

He saves three, 17 in Omaha in 23 2/3 innings with a 1.90 ERA, six walks and 30 strikes. Cansus City selected Baulan in the second round of the 2018 draft outside the memphis.
