Star India’s batter Rohit Sharma received a huge honor on Friday, as ‘Rohit Sharma Stand’ was inaugurated and unveiled at the prestigious Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The 37-year-old is the fourth largest run-scorer for India in all formats, and it was recently declared that a stand in Wankhed would be nominated in his honor. Rohit, his wife Ritika Sajdeh and his parents participated in the unveiling of the stand. Rohit’s wife Ritika looked visually emotional as the stand was inaugurated.
On Friday afternoon, in the presence of the entire team and assistant employees of the Mumbai Indians (MI), Rohit was honored with the inauguration of the Rohit Sharma stand at the Wankhede Stadium, in the ground in which Rohit was playing.
Rohit’s parents and wife, along with the cricketer themselves, were called to the center to inaugurate the stand. Rohit’s parents pressed a bajar together, which launched the confession to celebrate the inauguration of the stand.

Rohit and his wife were standing near Ritika. The latter appeared emotional as proceedings. However, Rohit’s parents did not allow any spirit to move during a special program.
The incident occurs a few days after Rohit Sharma declares his retirement from Test cricket.
Rohit is widely considered one of the best white ball batsmen of all time. In Odis, he scored more than 11,000 runs, slamming 32 tonnes. He is also the highest run-scorer in India in T20 cricket.
Rohit also holds the record for being the only batsman in ODI cricket to break three dual centuries, and also holds records for the highest personal score in the format.
The 37 -year -old is currently with Mumbai Indians, the IPL is ready for the 2025 restart. MI is in a tight playoff race, and the points are third in the table.
