Mumbai Indians and Team India Icon Rohit Sharma returned with a brilliant knock of 76 runs off 45 balls in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 match on Sunday. Rohit, whose disappointing run with the bat had become a major concern for the franchise, was finally able to convert its debut into a big score. In this process, Rohit also left behind Virat Kohli in the IPL Honors list. Courtesy of his unbeaten knock of 76 runs, Rohit was named the player of the match against CSK. This was the 20th time in his IPL career when Hitman emerged as a match-winner for his side.

Rohit slammed Mumbai Indians four borders and six maximum in his unbeaten 45 balls to guide the Mumbai Indians for a nine -wicket win. 0, 8 in previous matches. After the score of 13, 17, 18 and 26, this Rohit was the first fifty of this IPL season.
Rohit said, “After staying here for a long time, it is easy to start doubting yourself and start doing different things. It was important for me to practice well, kill the ball well. When you are clear in your mind, such things can happen,” Rohit said.
The former MI captain said that if a player started doubting his abilities, the pressure would have increased.
“It’s been some time (to get a big score) but if you doubt yourself, you pressurize yourself. It is important to balance how you want to play. Today I wanted to hit the ball but it was also important to hold the shape and expand weapons.
“And then if the ball is in the arc, I want to try what I always do. This is not happening continuously, but I am not going to doubt myself,” he said.
