Rockies of three-game sweeps of stricing veteran eyes

San Francisco veterans saw their wire of a win win on Wednesday, but their victory remains intact.

San Francisco defeated Colorado Rockies 10–7 to rally for the second direct night for their seventh consecutive win, and they will go to veteran Denver for a three-game series sweep on Thursday.

Right-arm Hayden Birdsong (3–1, 2.55 ERA) lead the mound against Rockies against right-handed Antonio Senjetla (1–10, 6.68).

On Wednesday night, the legends were away from making history. He entered the game with six straight one-run win and was all set to tie the Chicago cub of 1927 with a consecutive seventh. He entered the final innings 7-6, but added three runs.

With the lapse of history, San Francisco may focus on winning the eighth consecutive win with Birdsong on the hill.

In three career appearances (two beginnings) against Colorado, Birdsong is 2–0 with 1.38 ERA. On May 2, a native of 23 -year -old Illinois threw two scorer innings of Rockies vs Rahat.

Birdsong’s possibility will be pitching for the catcher Logan Porter, who was purchased from Triple-e Sacramento on Wednesday. Porter replaced the backup Patrick Bailey, who landed in the 10-day injured list due to neck tension.

Manager Bob Melvin said, “This is not really another catcher and (Bailey) didn’t just get so much better (Wednesday),” said Manager Bob Melvin. “It is not felt that we are in a position to try to push it (Thursday). The prudent thing to do was to do it right now.”

Porter entered as a defensive replacement on Wednesday night and hit his loan at-bats. This was his first major league game since 2023, when he was with Canasus City Royals.

He signed a modest league contract with San Francisco, and he hit two homes in 40 matches for Triple-e-Sacramento with two homes and 13 RBI.

Porter got a chance to work with veterans pitches in spring training.

“It should be just an easy infection, and I am familiar with Bulpen,” he said.

Senejethela is looking for her first win since April 20 and is at eighth position by Colorado starter this season. Cenjethela came out of Bulpen in her most recent game, entering the second innings behind opener Ryan Rollison on Friday, and she played four scorer against New York Mets.

In 14 career showcase (12 start) against the veterans, the Senjtela is 5-3 with 4.52 ERA. He lost to San Francisco on 2 May after allowing four runs on seven hits in five innings.

While Rockies’ rotation has struggled, Bulpen has been mostly solid, headed by Jake Bird. The fourth year veteran has not allowed an earned run in his last 10 demonstrations -1 innings-and he tied the franchise record for a frequent strike by a reliever.

Bird entered the fifth innings with a runner on Tuesday in the fifth innings and had no outsider, and he hit three in a row. He returned to eight overall dating vs Mets on his Friday to expand his streak to the first two batsmen in the sixth innings.

Interim manager Warren Shefer said, “He has a hundred percent confidence.” “He knows that he is good, he believes that he is good – even when he has not gone well, like last year, he still thinks that he is the best pitcher. It has a huge value.
