Rockies gets a rare win vs.

The German Markets played seven skilled innings on Sunday and Hunter Goodman scored five runs, as Colorado Rockies snatched the eight-game losing streak with a 9–3 victory at the San Diego Padress tour in Danver.

After the game, however, Rockies announced the firing of manager Bud Black and bench coach Mike Redmund. Despite the victory, the Colorado season is a league-of-two bad 7-33.

The third base coach Warren Shefefer was named interim manager along with interim coach Clint Hurdle with interim bench coach.

Markets (1-6) entered the day with a 9.90-earned run average, but looked 10–4 like a pitcher in his career against San Diego. He allowed a run with just three hits and one walk and two strikes, leading to his ERA 8.27.

Nick Pivata (5–2) ran in only four innings for San Diego, with five hits and six runs from two walks, while five fans. This was his second smallest outing of the year.

Colorado added a sacrifice fly by Michael Toglia and two runs in the seventh in an RBI double by Monon. Ryan McMahon stored Scoring in the sixth year in the eighth with a single homer.

Manny Machao scored two runs for San Diego, who lost for the first time in six matches with Rockies this year.

Goodman had three hits out of 12 hits in Colorado, which was a shy of the cycle.
