Robby Ray, Battle-Tested Giants set a target of low Rockies

San Francisco giants are more comfortable with nail-bits than clearly blowouts.

Ray will face Rockies for the 21st time in his career – the second behind his 22 against Los Angeles Dojers. He is 6-6 with 5.16 ERA in those outings, including seven shutouts when he defeated him in San Francisco on 2 May.

After leaving the fourth in a row on Tuesday night, Colorado continued its march for insult. Rockies at 12-54, Chicago are in the speed of shattering the records of the modern era of the 121 era set by White Socks in the previous season. Colorado is on the target to finish 29–133.
