Rishabh Pant Mauls England again sets six-right records in England, with faster 50

Rishabh Pant has hit the most sixes after his Quickfire 50 in the IND vs Eng 2nd Test after his Quickfire 50 in any country.

Rishabh Pant continued his stellar form in the India vs England series with yet another stunning knock. With India eyeing to set a massive target, Pant blazed through to another half-century in the IND vs ENG 2nd Test in Edgbaston. The Indian wicket-keeper blasted 3 sixes in his 58-ball stay, setting up a new record.

Rishabh Pant loves batting in England and he entertained the crowd in Birmingham on Saturday. Walking into bat after the fall of Kl Rahul, Pant set the tone straightaway with a 4 and a 6 off Josh Tongue. He was dropped by Zak Crawley, and survived a couple of close calls early.

The left-hander however then doubled down, stitching a vital 100-run partnership with captain Shubman Gill. He eventually reached his half-century off just 48 balls. He was eventually dismissed for 65 off 58 deliveries, having struck 8 fours and 3 sixes. Pant now has 24 sixes in England, the most by a batter in an away country.

Most sixes for India in Tests

Pant also closed in on the most sixes mark for India in Test cricket. The left-hander has 86 in 45 Tests, after his blitzkrieg against England at Edgbaston. The 27-year-old is 3rd on India’s list for most sixes, behind Rohit Sharma and Virender Sehwag.
