Rishabh Pant, cursed for Team India in distant trials, is a sign of danger, why is here?

When Rishabh Pant scored in the century, India never won a Test match from home. Of the five matches, when Pant made a ton, India lost four and attracted one.

Even in the defeat of India, the bright place was Rishabh Pant. India’s Test became the second wicketkeeper-boy after scoring twin tons after Vice-Capten Andy Flower. However, his royal effort did not give India any positive results as England chased 371 to win the headingley Test. But there is a pattern. Pant has been the most inauspicious player. Team India never won the Test match when the pants scored in the century.

The headingley test was not a once incident. This happened three times in England, in 2018, 2022 and 2025. India lost to the Oval, Edgbaston and Leeds over the pant scoring centuries. In South Africa, India lost to Cape Town. Not only lost in India, in 2019 when the match came to an end in Australia.
