Ride to Jimmy Butler III’s late Serge for a 3-1 lead over Warriors rockets

Jimmy Butler III returned from the absence of one-game to score 14 out of 27 points in the fourth quarter, making Golden State Warriors a 109-106 win over Houston Rockets in Game 4 of their first round playoff series in San Francisco on Monday.

Brandin Podizmsky scored six 3-pointers and scored 26 points as Warriors took a 3–1 lead in the best western conference matchup.

Stephen Curry scored 17 points, Buddy Hillad connected 15 and Quinton Post to the bench for the seventh seed Golden State.

Elpran Sengun scored 31 points and 10 rebounds and Fred Wanwette scored 25 points for other seeded rockets to eight 3-pointers. Amen Thompson scored 17 points for Houston.

The rockets had a chance to tie the last second, but the 3-point’s long attempt was the Vanwallet off-target.

The game in Houston is 5 Wednesday night.

Butler missed the game 3 due to a pelvic injury and had just four points in the first half of Game 4 before performing excellent in the second half. He ended the night 12-for-12 on free-three efforts, and he scored all the last five points of the Golden State.

Butler was fouled at the remaining 3-point attempts by 58.7 seconds and made all three free throw to give Golden State a 107–104 lead.

The driving circle of Sengun brought the rocket to play with 40.8 seconds.

Houston later got a chance to take an edge, but was out of the impression with Sangun’s 11-Footer 6.4 seconds. Butler made two free throw with four seconds, before the vanvet shot on Bajer did not draw iron.

Golden State shot 41.9 percent from the region, including 46 (37 percent) out of 46 (37 percent) from the 3-point range.

The rockets made 49.4 percent of their shots and 11 out of 23 (48.7 percent) from the back of the line. Dillon Brooks had 11 points and Steven Adams blocked four shots for Houston.

Warriors lagged behind seven points in Halftime before the start of the third quarter with 18–1 runs.

The rockets scored the next seven points and eventually the score at 74 on Sengun’s basket remained in this period with 2:35.

Golden State took an 82-80 lead in the final verse and Podzamsky started a quarter with a tray. However, Houston scored 14 out of the next 19 points and took a 94–90 lead in Thompson’s basket with 7:33.

Butler later scored four points during a 7–0 bust and Golden State led three to play with 2:12.

Vanvleet then complicated another tray and tie it with 1:20 rest at 104.

Wanvet scored 12 points in the first half and Houston took a 57–50 lead in the break. Podzamesky founded the Golden State with 13 before the interval.
