Bethesda, MD is Ritf Gosen and Angel Cabarera among the four players for the lead after three rounds of the Senior PGA Championship.
Jason Kairan and England’s Philip Archer made part of the tie on 5-under 211 after Saturday’s Windy Third Round at the Congressunal Country Club on Saturday. Seven other leads are within two shots.
Gosen of South Africa shot 4-inner 68 for the best round among co-agaries. He had six Birds and two bogies.
Argentina’s Cabarera shot 70, while Karen and Archer gave a card of 71 in each.
“You have just got to go out of there and play shots for the shot and see what happens,” Gosen said. “If you make a lot of Birdi, great. If you don’t, it’s fine, going to someone else here, especially if the circumstances improve.”
Cabarera made four Birds and two bogey, while each of Karen and Archer had four Birds and three bogies.
A shot on Stewart Sink (71 on Saturday) and England’s Lee Westwood (68) 212 have returned.
The 3-under-end pack includes Padrig Harrington (73) of Ireland and Vijay Singh (75) of Fiji. The group’s part of the group is Robert Carlson (73) of Sweden, Thomas Byorn of Denmark and Yang (75) of South Korea.
