RHP Frankie Montas back from IL, set to debut Mates

New York Met’s on Tuesday restored the right-handed Frankie Montas from the 15-day injured list and transferred outfielder JC Vinkar to the 60-day injured list in the process.

In another compatible trick, the right-handed Chris Devensky was given the option for Triple-e-Sirrakuse.

Montas was scheduled to start his Mets against Atlanta Braves on Tuesday night.

The 32-year-old Montas signed a two-year, $ 34 million free-agent contract with Mets in December before developing a lot of strain in February. He struggled for a record of 0–3 and began 12.05 ERA in six minor league rehabilitation.

31 -year -old Vinkar was batting. 239 with a home run and 10 RBI in 24 matches this season before going into the wounded list with a right oblique tension in this season.
