The New England Revolution on Friday rewarded Midfielder Matt Pollster with a new contract through the 2027 season.

The 31-year-old is with New England since 2020, after the stent with Chicago Fire (2015-18) and Scottish Club Rangers FC (2019-20).

Pollster said in a statement, “This is an incredible honor to sign for another chapter with this club, which matters a lot to me and my family in the last 5 1/2 years.” “I am thankful to my constant belief and to give me the opportunity to do what I love and for my continuous confidence for the entire New England Revolution Organization.

“Thanks to fans – for the years of unwavering support and love of your years. I am eager to continue this journey with you. Football has always been my passion and the house that has become a house to pursue it in a place is something that I do not take.

A defensive midfielder, Polster has scored 10 goals and is a support pair in its 225 MLS Games (202 beginning). This season has a goal through eight matches, scored on the target on his only shot.

“For the last 5 1/2 years, the Matt Polls has been the cornerstone of the New England Revolution, which brings furious intensity to unmatched leadership, tireless dedication and our club,” Sporting Director Kurt Onalfo said in a statement. “It is a privilege to see the remarkable growth of Matt as both a player and a leader during our time with us. We are thrilled to continue our journey in New England, move our team to the ultimate goal of hoisting the trophies.”

Pollster made an appearance for the US men’s national team in friendly for 2018.
