Revenge of Hurricane Season-Opening Blowout loss for mercury

Skylar Digins scored 24 points and set a franchise record with 14 assistance as the Seattle Storm won 77-70 over Phoenix Mercury in his home opener on Friday.
Nneka Ogwumike scored 24 points with eight rebounds and Gabby Williams added 11 points, as Hurricane (2–1) took revenge after taking revenge, as he dominated 81-59 on the road in his season’s opener against Mercury.

Para pushed back with eight consecutive points, including 3-pointers in a row, tieing the game with 70–70 to 4:48. A jumper from Digids and a retrench of Ogwumic gave the storm a 74–70 with 2:22.
Moukani had a shot blocked by Digins and Catherine WestBeld recalled a turnaround jumper with 1:25 remaining for Phoenix, causing a paste from Ogwumic, leading to a 76–70 with 1:09 on the clock.
The mercury moved 0 out of 6 from the floor at the final 3:07, in which the digins and ogumike blocked each shot in each stretch. Thomas and Sabli were scorer at a joint 0 -off -7 shooting in the fourth quarter for Phoenix.
After a tight first half, where neither the team led more than five, Mercury took a lead of 44–42. Thomas scored 11 points in the first half for Phoenix, who shot 51.5 percent from the floor.
