Report: Yankis signed Inf Nicki Lopez for Minor League Deal

New York Yankis signed veteran Infielder Nikki Lopez for a minor league deal, fans on Thursday.
Yenkis nominated Infielder CJ Alexander for the first assignment, and Los Angeles Dojers claimed exemption from New York on Thursday.
Yannakis are struggling defensively in recent weeks, and 30 -year -old lopez can provide a stable gloves. Lopez was an American League Gold Glove Award Finalist last year at the second base with Lopez Chicago White Sox. He started 292 on a second basis, 265 in shortstop and 49 on the third base in his major league career.
However, Lopez was batting .056 (1 -for -18) for Chicago Cub at 14 Games, when he decided to nominate him for assignments in May. He started the season with Los Angeles Angels and played in four matches, going to 0 -for -6 in the plate.
Lopez is a career. More than 686 MLB games with Cenus City Royals (2019-23), Atlanta Braves (2023), White Sox, Angels and Cubs 686 MLB games. His best season came in 2021, when he batted .300 and recorded 21 doubles and 43 RBI in 151 matches for Cannes City.
The 28 -year -old Alexander was not found in a game for Yanki. He has played 10 Major League games, including six for athletics of this season, and batted. 160 (4 -for -25).
