Athletic reported on Thursday that Angel’s Pickens Tyler Scags of LaT Los Angeles had been misusing prescription drugs since at least 2013, a former team partner serving as one of his sources.
In a long article about a civic case of a wrong death filed against Angels by the Skags family, Athletic said that the former agent of the scoggs said in a statement that the pitcher had received some drugs from a team partner Wade Miley with Erizona Diamondback in the 2013 season.
Miley, 38, was recently signed by Cincinnati Reds.
Ryan Hamil, who was an agent of Skags, testified that he discussed with both the pitcher and his family on the use of the drugs of the scags.
“He came clearly,” Hamil testified. “He said he was using – I believe it was percosaets – and he said that he got him through Ved Miley.”
The haemil statement was included in the “Hundreds of Pages Western”, which was said by Athletic, apparently on the online portal of the California Court last week, was posted incorrectly.
The 27 -year -old Skge died of a drug overdose, while Angels were on a road trip to play the role of Texas Rangers in 2019. Eric KK, former Director of the team, was sentenced to 22 years in jail in 2022, found for a conspiracy for death and conspiracy after being found guilty for the distribution of a controlled substance.
Skags family is sueing the angels, high-level team officials as well as other employees, the work was a drug user and should know that he was the source of scags.
Family is demanding $ 210 million for loss. The angels have filed a proposal to take a summary decision -making and dismiss the claim.
Miley was also mentioned in the criminal case of Kay, but he was never accused of crime.
Hamil and Miley, through their agent, refused to comment to the athletic.
Reds signed the left -arm Miley on 4 June, who landed in the injured list in the injured list.
Due to the Ulnar collateral ligament surgery, Miley did not pitch in larger companies since April 16, 2024.
With Reds, he has appeared in two games. He won against Cleveland Guardian on Monday in Cincinnati’s 7–4 game. He started and threw five innings, conceding five hits and four runs on four walks.
Miley started her career with Diamondback in 2011, then played with Boston Red Sox (2015). Seattle Meriners (2016), Baltimor Oriols (2016-17), Millvoki Brevers (2018), Houston Astro (2019), Reds (2020-21), Chicago Covenant (2022) and Broovers (2023-24).
