Report: Targeting Brian O’Coner of Virginia as Mississippi State Coach

The Mississippi state is allegedly zero in its new head baseball coach with Brian O’Coner of Virginia as the top target.
According to D1baseball.com, O’Coner stands as the first option to handle bulldogs, with a deal in alleged tasks.
Since 2004, the coach of cavaliers, O’Coner, has directed Virginia to 18 of the performance of 21 NCAA tournaments of the program. Cavillars missed Postsen this year, decreasing for the first time since 2019.
In his career, O’Coner has set a career record of 885–370–2.
Mississippi State fired coach Chris Lemonis in late April after seven years, given that the program “does not constantly meet the standard of success, which our universities, fans and students are expected and eligible.”
Bulldogs (34-21) have managed to move forward in the 64-Team NCAA tournament under the interim head coach Justin Parker and will face the Northeast on Friday as number 3 seeds in the Talhasi regional region hosted by Florida State.
Bulldogs went to 232–135 under Lemonis, reached the college world series twice in their first three years, cutting shorts due to Kovid -19 in their second year) epidemic. The Mississippi state never proceeded beyond the regional round in its last three full sessions.
