Chicago cubs are recalling the third baseless Matt Shaw from Triple-e-Iowa, several outlets said on Monday.
23 -year -old Shaw is batting with 15 runs in his last 11 matches with a 1.119 OPS, five homers, 10 RBI and Iowa.
He started the season with Chicago and batted in 18 matches with one homer, three RBI and 18 strikes .172.
The cub selected Shaw with the 13th overall pick in the 2023 draft of the University of Maryland.
