Louisiana is leaving the conference to become the 14th member of the Tech Sun Belt Conference, ESPN said.

Sun belt officials allegedly approved the move to change the state of Texas, which recently jumped into PAC -12.

Louisiana Tech has been with the conference with USA since 2013. Apart from Bulldog’s basketball program and other games, there were part of the Sun Belt from 1991-2001 before attending the Western Athletic Conference from the first 2001-13.

The oldest date of Louisiana Tech may be included in the Sun Belt in 2026. The school will cost at least $ 5 million to get out of the USA.

Bulldogs Football Program 2019 has not ended above .500 since leaving 10-3 under former coach Skip Holts. He was 5-8 in the last season under Sunny Kumbi.

The Basketball team of Louisiana Tech men has won 20 out of the last 13 seasons, but has not been in the NCAA tournament since 1991.

The women’s basketball team ended 18–16 in the last season and has not been in the NCAA tournament since 2011.
