Report: John Alway will not be charged in the death of a business partner

Denver Television Station reported that John Elway will not be charged in the April incident in which his long -term trade partner fell from a golf cart operated by the Hall of Fame Quarterback and later died, a Danver Television Station reported.
Jeff Sparbeck was 62 years old when he died in La Quinta, California.
Sheriff Chad Bianco at Rivaruside County, California told 9news that the investigation confirmed the initial conclusions of an accident and the cause of death was a blunt force.
“We have talked to everyone involved and we did not find anything new,” he told the station. “Nothing was a criminal. It was what we were saying that it was a tragic accident.”
According to 9news, an official announcement from the Sheriff Department is going to be made soon.
TMZ reported in April that Alway, Sports and their wives were in the desert to attend the StageCoch Music Festival.
Elway, 65, and Sperbecks established 7Cellars Winery simultaneously in 2013. Sperbeck was also a long -time agent of Elway.
Sports, certified by NFL, represented more than 100 NFL players as an agent and business advisor in a 30 -year career on the winery website.
“I have been completely destroyed and heartbroken by the death of my close friend, business partner and agent Jeff Sparbeck,” Elway said in a statement after Sparbeck’s death. “There are no words to really express deep sadness that I feel with the sudden loss of someone who matters a lot to me.”
Elway played for Denver Bronkos from 1983–98, winning the Super Bowl Championship in each of his last two sessions. He was included in the Hall of Fame in 2004. He returned to the team as an executive in 2011, worked as General Manager via 2020 and as Chairman of Football Operations in 2021.
