St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that Cardinals Catcher/Nominated Hoter Ivan Heera has been sidelined with a week of two to six weeks.

The 25-year-old Herrera, a day after a doubleheaded game against Chicago White Sock, landed on the 10-day injured list on Friday, a day after an injury. It marks its second term on IL this season.

Herrera is batting with eight homeers and 36 RBI in 42 matches this season.

“It’s unfortunate. He is really doing a good job. Having really swinging the hot bat. Just a real danger aggressively. We are going to remember it,” said Oliver Marmol, the manager of the cardinals.

For its share, the green is positive in view of the injury.

“It can be worse. It can be throughout the year,” he said, according to the post-dispatch. “… I am still able to play a lot of games. This is a positive. I am going to work hard to do strong work every day I am here.

“This is just another rock on my way, and I think I am just going to come back strong.”
