ESPN said on Thursday that the Wilnoova football program is leaving the coastal athletic association to join the Patriot League.
The move will be effective for Wildcats in 2026, which in 2007 joined the CAA (East of the colonial athletic association) of the Football Championship subdivision.
Wilnova finished 10–4 the last season (6–2 CAA) and lost in the second round of NCAA playoffs.
Members of the Patriot League include Baknel, Colgate, Fordham, Georgetown, Holi Cross, Lafet and Leh.
Wilnoova earlier competed in the Atlantic 10 (1997–2006) and Yanki Conference (1987–96).
The school’s basketball program is a member of the Big East Conference.
