Reds twins out for rain-less victory

A storm delays the MLB game between Cincinnati Reds and Minnesota Twins at the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.

Spencer Steer carried forward a two-day homer, doubled and won 4–2 of the rain on the twin children of Minnesota on Wednesday to lead the Cincinnati Reds twice against their former team.

The game was stopped at the bottom of the sixth with two exterior as heavy rains drowned the ground and Tarp was placed on the infield. After a long delay, the competition was officially ruled.

Cincinnati Starter Nick Lodolo (5-5) scored a domestic run to Bayon Buxon on his first pitch of the game after a 2-hour, 7-minute rain. However, the laftty settled, which scored two runs on three hits in six innings for the first win in five. He killed four and two left.

Matt McClen and Will Banson ran each in one run for Reds, winning their fourth direct win and transferred four matches of more than 500 seasons in their four -match four matches in 11 matches.

Brux Lee of Minnesota extended his hitting Streak to 18 games with single to single in the fourth, but fell 0–5 on his six-game trip via Twins Houston and Cincinnati.

At the beginning of the game, there was a delay due to torrential rains and strong winds, which used to put an inch underwater ground in some places. It took 45 minutes for the field crew to prepare the ground after the Tarap was removed.

Constant rains resumed after the national anthem and the game started before tapping to the bottom of the first innings.

Buxton did not show any bad effect from the delay, several rows of Lodolo’s initial offer for their 11th career lead homer in the left-center seats and second in this season. This was Buxon’s second homer in many sports and his team did the 13th-lead of the year.

TJ Freedle opened with a single and scored with two outs when Stear ran a fastball from Ober to his sixth homer of the season and 2–1 cinches of the wall for the leading lead.

McClen and Banson distributed RBI singles in the second and third innings respectively, before Twins Trevor Larnach hit a run-scoring ground in the fourth.
