On Sunday, Frankona became the 13th manager in MLB history, who reached the victory of 2,000 career, with his team rally to win 4–2 over Colorado Rockies on Sunday.
The 66 -year -old Texas Rangers joined Bruce Bocha as the only active managers to fulfill the feat. Out of the 11 other persons ahead of Frankona, 10 are in the hall of fame, while both Bocha and former Reds Manager Dusty Baker are expected to be vested.
Reds is one of the teams that Frankona played during the 10-C career. He batted in 102 Games for Cincinnati in 1987 .227.
Frankona holds a record of four teams and 2,000–1,719 in 24 seasons. He has won the world series twice with Boston Red Sox (2004, 2007) and reached Postsen 11 times.
In its first season in the hull of Cincinnati, Frankona has led Reds for a record of 50–47 in the all-star break.
Koni Mac holds the MLB record with 3,731 wins, the only person who tops the 3,000 wins. Frankona could pass 11th position by the end of the season to Leo Durochar (2,008) and Walter Alston (2,040).
