Reds Starter Nick Martinez returns home to face Marlins

Right-arm Nick Martinez will return home on Tuesday night when his Cincinnati Reds visits Miami Marlins for a three-game competition.
Martinez (0-3, 6.00 ERA), a Miami native, departs for a slow start as Reds is the winner at his first four. They have no quality starting this season, and they have allowed three or four earned runs every time.
However, in a 10 career performance against Marlins, including three beginnings, Martinez is 4–0 with 1.00 ERA in 27 innings.
Miami Martinez will be counted with right-handed Edward Cabarera (0–1, 6.52 ERA). Marlins 0–2 earlier this year.
Cabarera started his lone career against Cincinnati on July 13, when he scored seven runs in six hits in 3 1/3 innings.
The series corresponds to two of the lowest-pairyol teams in Major. Cincinnati ranks third below, while Miami is last dead.
Reds, however, is a 23 -year -old switch hitter shortstop Elli de La Cruise a budding superstar.
De La Cruz, the first time last year is All-Star, 6-Foot-5, and he used his long progress and electric speed to lead Major with 67 stolen last year.
He was also caught stealing 16 times and 218 times, both Major League Highs, but he is an exciting player, who also did 36 doubles, 10 triples, 25 homers, 76 RBI and A.809 Oms.
“(De la cruise) is an incredible talent,” said Marlins Manager Clayton McCulla. “He is going to run on anyone. The enthusiasm he brings is a real thing. He can cause some havoc with his feet, and has an impact with his bat.
“He is one of the most electrified young players in our game.”
Da la Cruz’s Reds Catcher Austin Wings added: “He is a eccentric. He is supernatural.”
D la cruise is particularly important because Reds are recalling two starters due to injuries: Catcher Tyler Stephennson (diagonally stress) and the first Basman Christian Encarinesian-Strand (back inflammation).
Meanwhile, Marlins are playing without three onset due to injuries: Catcher Nick Forts (Slap stress), center fielder Derek Hill (left wrist sprain) and left field fielder Griffin conin (dislikes left shoulder).
Conin, who has a .790 OPS in 20 matches this season, was placed on the 60-day injured list on Sunday.
“This is the worst fear of a player,” 27 -year -old Conine said about landing on IL for the first time in his career. “This is like taking the game away from you.”
Marlins are also without starting Pickens Eri Perez (Elbow), Brexon Garat (Elbow), Ryan Weather (Cell) and Reliever Declen Chronin (Hip) and Andrew Nardi (Back).
Miami received a lift from Catcher Agustin Ramirez on Monday and Hitter Ronnie Simon was nominated, both started their major league.
The 25 -year -old Simon went to 1 -for -4 with an RBI single. His start was to come for a long time: he played 558 games in the seven minor league season. Simon earned his shot by hitting a .354 (17-for-48) in Triple-e-Jacksonville this year.
The 23 -year -old Ramirez moved 2 -for -3 with a double, walk, a theft and a score. He also had a ball.
“A lot of conversation with (Ramirez) was on the defensive side of the ball and can he live in a catcher.” “But we know that he can hit.”
