Reds deal with former all-star RHP Alexis Diaz to Dojers

Los Angeles Dojers acquired the Reluxis Diaz of Reluxis Diaz, a right-hand relief pitcher from Cincinnati Reds on Thursday in exchange for Minor League Right-Hand Mike Villani.
The Dojers transferred the right-handed Ivan Philips to the 60-day injured list to open a location for Diaz on a 40-man roster.
The 28-year-old Diaz was an all-star selection in 2023, but lost his close role in Emilio Pagan in Cincinnati before this season. He appeared in just six matches in 2025 and allowed eight runs in six innings for 12.00 ERA.
Diaz was given an option for Triple-A on 1 May and had two savings in 14 displays for 4.63 ERAs, 1-2 records and 14 performances for Louisville.
Prior to some or the other patch, Diaz set a record of 75 saves and 18–14 on her first three Major League season with Cincinnati. He owns a career 3.21 ERA.
Villani, 22, was a 13th round of draft pickle by Dojers in 2024 and is yet to make his MLB debut. He started this season at Ruki Ball Level.
