The 31 -year -old Bremann has not played after going with a stressful perfect quadriseps in the injured list since 23 May. Red Sox and Raz play a four-game series that began on Thursday night and lasts on Sunday, with the second half of the season to Boston on 18 July at the Chicago Cub.
“He will play at the end of this week,” Kora said on Thursday, when Bramanman had a complete baseball exercise with batting and fielding practice. “He will play two games, let’s keep it in this way.”
Kora said that Bremann would be active without regular rehabilitation assignment for a minor league affiliation.
“(Bremann) feels good,” Kora said. “We talk about the gap between Triple-A and Badi Leagues. Physically, he has done everything here. So we rely on the et-Bate, we trust it. We are going to roll with it. … You get five, six, seven at-bats (with a rehabilitation assignment). Why did they not find here?”
Bramanman is batting. 11 domestic runs, 35 RBI, 17 doubles, A.385 on-base percentage and 51 with .553 slugging percentage. 299. Despite this missing so much time, he was selected as a reserve for the American League team in Tuesday’s all-star game in Atlanta.
Now the three-time all-star will not play in that game, but he will take the ground on the third basis at the end of this week rather than making the ground as a specified hitter. He won the Al Gold Glove on a third basis with Houston in the previous season.
Kora said, “My biggest concern is its defensive part, in nine innings, going in dugouts, going back and forth, pop-up line, distribution and all that,” said Kora. “But he has checked almost every box. We are still found today, but he feels that he is in a magnificent place and we are going to trust the player.”
Bramanman signed a three -year, $ 120 million deal during offsen to join the Red Sox after nine sessions with Houston, where he won the World Series title with Astro in 2017 and 2022.
He is a career. 274 hitters with 202 domestic runs and Astro (2016-24) and 698 RBI in parts of 10 seasons with Red Sox.
