Red bulls aim to continue dominated by Toronto’s struggle

New York Red Bulls definitely prefer to face Toronto FC. In 43 all-time meetings between the two sides, Red Bulls set a record of 24–9–10 and are unbeaten in their last 12 regular sessions against the Canadian club, going 9–0-3 in that period.

Red bulls continue the success when they go to Toronto on Wednesday.

New York (8-7-3, 27 points) has won each of the last four matches in total against Toronto and is riding an unbeaten line of five matches as visitors. Red Bulls, which are at eighth position in the Eastern Conference, will later be hoping to help a team which is just 1-6-2 on opposing the pitches in this season. This is a contrast from their results at home, where they are 7-1-1.

Toronto Captain Jonathan returns to the pitch without Osorio, who maintained a low body injury during training with Canada in ConcacAF Gold Cup, and can still be without star Federico Bernardichi.

Bernardchi, who missed the last two matches due to a suspension and a muscle tension, worked with a trainer away from the main group on Tuesday and no word was given on their potential availability. He leads Toronto with four goals and four assistance in 15 matches.
