Let’s start with the best. In all the matches played, Root has scored 286 runs against Pesar, and the average is only 31.8. So certainly Bumrah is our best condition. Moving forward for Mohammad Sirj, this is the place where things become interesting.

In 349 delivery against Siraj, the route has gone to score 236, only twice out. This means the average average average of 118. Against Ravindra Jadeja, who is India’s leading spinner on the tour – the batsman has faced 1142 delivery, scored 499 runs and scored 8 times. This still means an average of 62.
