Real Madrid, Borusia dortmund renewal rivalry in CWC quarter -finals

Large clubs meeting in big matches. This is the recent history for Real Madrid and Borusia Dortmund, who continue their rivalry in a club World Cup quarter -finals in East Rutherford, NJ on Saturday.
Real Madrid won 5–2 over Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League in October 2024, four months after defeating the German side 2–0 in the final of the 2023-24 Champions League.
Add that real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso, Dortmund knows his Bundaliga rival Beyrene Leverkusen very well after coaching from October 2022 to the end of last season from October 2022, and the match has additional spice.
“We know (Alonso) very well. He worked for 2 1/2 years in Germany, and he did a great job,” said Dortmund coach Nico Kovak. “Now he is implementing everything he did in Bayern Lever Kusen in Real Madrid. Therefore, we are hoping that we were the same in Leverkusen, who were only with different players.
“We are ready for this, but you have to play football for 90 minutes, and if we put everything on the pitch, I think we will have a good chance.”
The winner plays a semi-final against Paris St.-Germen or Bayern Munich in East Rutherford on Wednesday.
Real Madrid will look at Kylian Mabappa, who created his tournament in 16 after being out with a disease.
Fortunately, Gonzalo Garcia was more than enough as a replacement, a three -goal net in the tournament.
“We feel good,” said Alonso. “After ahead of the group stage and juventus, you want to take steps, and the next is a quarterfinal, with a top team Dortmund in Europe, who is always competing in the Champions League and recently played in the final against Madrid.
“It’s going to be a deep match, from which we need to play on a good level, and so we are ready for it.”
Real Madrid will have to keep an eye on Serhou Guirsi, who scored twice in 10 minutes vs. Monteri in the last match, giving him three goals in the tournament.
The missing that is missing is a matchup by Belingham Brothers—has been suspended due to the yellow-card accumulation after–Montrey vs. Monteri, a matchup of Belingham Brothers.
“I think it would be a difficult match,” Jude Belingham said. “We have already played against him, but they have changed a bit. … They have improved. It will be a very exciting match.”
