For many foreign stars, delays and security concerns meant a major setback. Delhi’s Jake Fraser-Makegurk and Mitchell Starc opted to return to the rest of the tournament. Moeen Ali, Sam Curran, Jamie Overton, Rachin Ravindra and many others chose against being worried about safety and upcoming commitments.
Mayank Yadav’s injury crisis
Mayank Yadav exploded on the scene with his speed in the last season. Despite playing just 4 games, Mayank was retained for Rs 11 crore, which made his India debut. However, he missed half a season with a troublesome foot injury. On return, the 23 -year -old was well equal, not killing the speed he did.
