Patidar, who sustained a finger injury during RCB’s match against Chennai Super Kings, is currently undergoing recovery, and his availability remains uncertain.

If Patidar is unable to play, RCB has several contenders in their team to appoint a captain. The likes of Krunal Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jitesh Sharma have handled the role previously in IPL. As a result, one of these players is likely to captain RCB in the RCB vs. KKR IPL 2025 match.
RCB has had a solid campaign in IPL 2025, currently sitting second in the points table with eight wins in 11 games. However, injuries have posed challenges, with Devdutt Padikkal already ruled out due to a hamstring injury. Additionally, overseas players like Josh Hazlewood, Phil Salt, and Liam Livingstone may miss some matches due to international commitments.
