RCB has re -made Tendulkar’s 2011 pride for Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma and Manish Pandey are only 4 players in all 18 sessions of IPL. Among them, only Kohli has not won 1 title.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBK) want the final glory. After 17 years of disappointment in the Indian Premier League (IPL), he wants to lift his first trophy. Punjab has closed only once in 2014. But Bangalore has got one hand on the cup three times, for only three separate teams to steal the cup right with their hands.
Do for Kohli!
This year, RCB would like to win all this for Virat Kohli. He has been with the franchise since the beginning. Bad and good, saw it all. Before he was a domestic name, he was giving all this to the team. And this can only be the last attempt. Kohli has already retired from T20Is and Test cricket. IPL and Odis are now left.
And seeing how he hung his red ball shoes out somewhere, you cannot sure whether Kohli will return to IPL 2026. Keeping this in mind, the silver Patidar’s RCB will finally try to win the trophy for Kohli. The Indian team did the ODI World Cup for Sachin Tendulkar in 2011.
Unavailable players and injuries
Of course, the path will not be easy. PBKs did not coincide to end the group stage as the best team. Everything is clicking for them. And unlike the other three teams, Punjab will not have only one foreign player services. They will remember Marco Jansen, there is no doubt, but RCB does not have lungi NGD and Jacob Bethel.
Then there are concerns of injury. Patidar did not play the last match due to his finger injury. Salt has returned to fitness, but even he was out for some games before. Tim David has a hamstring swallow and although interim captain Jitash Sharma said that he will be available for selection, it is yet to be seen. You do not recover from hamstring injuries in a few days, but who knows?
Then we come to Josh Hazelwood. Pesar has not played from 27 April. It is more than a month. And can I remind you; He was also injured. He was reconsideration in Australia and returned only a few days ago. What if it is not 100% yet? Or is he not back from the gate-go to his best?
Crisis
In the absence of Hazelwood, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Yash Dayal have fought. Joint, he has taken 3 wickets in the last 3 matches. Lungi corrected but he was swept away. Ashirwad Mujarbani comes as his replacement, but Nuwan Thaushara has also done a good job. Suyash Sharma is disappointed throughout the season.
Positive
Krunal Pandya has performed well with the ball and even once with the bat. If the RCB IPL wants to qualify for the 2025 final, their batting may have to work heavy. Kohli and Phil Salat’s initial partnership needs to hurt those protests as they are doing.
Mayank Agarwal has shown capacity at number three. Patidar’s form has been very spectacular, but he is a quality player. Jitesh can only be in the form of his life. The Roomario Shepherd can provide the final blow. And if David is fit, it makes things even better.
