Ravi Shastri has no place for Nitish Reddy, Dhruv Jurall or Kuldeep Yadav in India

According to the headingley curator, the pitch may improve for batting as a match.

India vs England 1 test will begin in only two days time. We still do not know how the pitch will play in Headingley. This is an unusually dry heat in England and many people hope that the batsmen will enjoy their time in the middle and can come more in the spinner game.

Sharadul Thakur Over Nitish Reddy

However, former India head coach Ravi Shastri still believes that Shubman Gill and Sah. Four fast bowlers and a spinner should play. This means that Nitish Reddy will have no one in Shastri’s favorite India XI for the first Test. He decided to play Sai Sudhashan in three and Karun Nair in five. This means, Dhruv Jurlel who was impressed against England Lions, cannot play.

His argument for bowling mines is that he feels that it will be cloudy in Headingley. So it is better to choose Shardul Thakur over Reddy. He thinks that the third fast bowler should be either Prasad Krishna or Arshdeep Singh.

“I will go with three fast bowlers, (Plus) Shardul Thakur. I know it will be a difficult between Shardul and Nitish Reddy, but you have to see how much bowling. If Reddy is going to give you 12 or 14 overs, he can get the node due to his batting,” Shastri told the ICC Review.
