Rattled Pakistan Cricket Board takes Pakistan Super League out of the country because tension with India

The PCB on Friday decided to transfer the remaining matches of its Pakistan Super League to the UAE due to the ongoing military confrontation with India, which has worried the foreign players of the incident. The PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) said this morning that the last eight fixtures, which were previously determined in Rawalpindi, Multan and Lahore, will now be staged in the UAE. A statement said that the schedule of matches will be shared in the appointed time, underlining the dates and places.
PCB President, Mohsin Naqvi alleged that the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium was affected and PSL was interrupted in the most recent strike inside Pakistan.
However, the Indian Ministry of Defense has made it clear that only air defense radars and systems were targeted on Thursday after trying to hit 15 places in northern and western regions in India on Wednesday night.
The PCB chief said that the UAE was changed to address the concerns of domestic as well as foreign cricketers.
“As a responsible organization that has repeatedly removed adversely and has ensured that the game of cricket thrives, it was important for us to ensure the mental good of all the players participating in PSL,” he said.
Earlier on Thursday, PCB closed a scheduled match between Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings at the Rawalpindi Stadium.
Reports in the British media stated that the English players who competed in the league were considering leaving it due to security concerns.
A report by ‘The Telegraph’ earlier stated that the English player who signed up for the league, “to stay in Pakistan and play cricket” is divided on this.
He said, “England and Wales Cricket Board and Professional Cricketers Association organized an emergency call on Wednesday morning to discuss the situation. At this level the players are not being advised to come home,” he said.
“While most of the players are currently intended to remain in Pakistan, Telegraph Sport understands that many are searching for their options and can return home.” Seven English players-Zems Vince, Tom Curan, Sam Billings, Chris Jordan, David Willy, Luke Wood and Tom Kohaler-Kadmore are playing in this year’s PSL.
England coaches Ravi Bopara and Alexandra Hartley are also included in the ongoing league.
Other high-profile stars competing in PSL include David Warner (Karachi Kings), Jason Holder (Islamabad United), and Rasi Van Der Duson (Islamabad United).
