Colorado Rapids appear to get out of a bad odor when they fight Real Salt Lake at Rocky Mountain Cup in Commerce City, Kolo’s Commerce City on Saturday night.

The Rapids has dropped their last three matches and the winner (0-3-2) in their last five outings entering the rivalry competition.

Colorado (4-5-4, 16 points) is coming in large-scale unilateral relationship with a 2–0 road loss for San Diego FC on Wednesday.

“Yes, it was a difficult game for us,” said Rapids coach Chris Armas. “In this game, margins are thin in our league and western conference.

“There is not much space for error, and we did not do enough. … Saturday’s focus is now, all our energy is spent on recovery and is a big match for our players, our clubs and our fans.”

Colorado has been vacated in each of its last two matches. Rapids was out of 28–9 by San Diego FC.

Now Rapids appear to end their slide against Real Salt Lake (4-7-2, 14 points).

Salt Lake is 0–1-2 in his last three matches and visited Portland Timbers for a scorer tie on Wednesday.

Salt Lake has only 13 goals and more than half of them have come from Diego Luna.
