Rangers Patrick Corbin Opener vs.

A familiar face would return to Washington, DC, when Texas Rangers opened a three-game series against citizens on Friday night.

Left-Hander Patrick Corbin, a prominent member of the 2019 World Series Champion Washington, will start for Rangers.

In December 2018, Washington was signed as a free agent, Corbin posted a record of 14–7 with 3.25 ERA in the regular session of 2019. He was the winner Pitcher in Game 4 of the National League Championship Series, as Washington received the penette and later was the winning pitcher in relief in game 7 of the world series against Houston Astro.

He won against Diamondback last Saturday, when Washington scored 10 runs in the initial frame, and Soroka played 5 1/3 innings, scoring four runs on six hits. Washington won 11–7.

“We competed today,” Garcia said through an interpreter. “We had good contact. Unfortunately, we were not able to win. But I felt that we have really good batsmen.”
