Rajdhani FTJ Oshi, 38, retired after decorated career

Olympic hero and long -standing NHL forward TJ Oshi announced his retirement on Monday after a 16 -year NHL career.
Oshi, who did not play in 2024–25 due to a back injury, divided his 1,010 career games between St. Louis Blues (2008–15) and Washington Capital (2015–24). Blues chose him in the first round of the 2005 draft, total 24th.
He helped Capital win his first and only Stanley Cup in 2018, with eight goals (six on power play) and 13 in 24 playoff games.

Oshi prolonged 695 points (302 goals, 393 aid) in her career and managed double -digit goals in one of her 16 sessions. His high-water mark came in 2016-17, when he scored 33 goals in 68 matches for the capitals.
Oshi was voted in an all-star game, representing the capitals in the 2019-20 season. Injuries limited it to 44 games in 2021-22, 58 in 2022-23 and 52 in 2023-24.
Oshi, a native of the state of Washington, is also known to his heroes during the 2014 Winter Olympics.
The US went to shoot against Russia in the early stages. Players were allowed international regulations to use infinitely in firing, and Oshi was used six times-which included five shots in a row. Oshi scored at her four attempts, including the winner in the eighth shootout round.
According to the capitals, Oshi ranks second in NHL history with minimum 100 attempts (47.1 percent) in shootout shooting percentage. He is third in the game-dispensing shootout goal (21) and tied for the third in the total shootout goal (49).
