Rajasthan Royals Star labeled the ‘villain’ for the ‘Selfish’ Act, resulting in loss of Delhi capitals

Rajasthan Royals batsman Dhruv Juraral faced a massive criticism for his ‘selfish’ act, in which fans believed that their losses against Delhi Capital on Wednesday. Social media users were not happy with Jurall, refusing one run to Shimron Hetmyer in the final of the match. Jurael and Hetmier were at the crease with 9 runs in the finals, but Mitchell Starc performed a surprising performance to take the match to the super over. With the need of 3 runs from 2 balls, Hetmier played the ball through the cover but Jurlel did not return for the second run. Repley showed that they could finish two runs until the fielder completed the sev and Jurall finally failed to score 2 runs in the final ball of the over.

After the disadvantage, Jurall was redeemed with several fans on social media, calling him ‘villain’.

Meanwhile, Delhi Capital bowling coach Munaf Patel has been fined 25 percent of his match fees and has also submitted a demerit point to violate the IPL Code during his team’s match at Arun Jaitley Stadium on Wednesday.

The IPL said in a statement on Thursday, “Munaf Patel accepted the level 1 crime under Article 2.20 – which is related to the behavior of the game – and accepted the approval of the match referee.”

He said, “For level 1 violations of the code of conduct, the decision of the match referee is final and binding,” said this.

The incident occurred during Delhi’s bowling when the fourth umpire allegedly stopped Delhi’s reserve player from entering the area to express Patel’s message in between. Former India’s pacer was seen making an argument with the umpire, tying his lace on the boundary line. The video of the incident went viral on social media.

Delhi Capital won an exciting super over after Mitchell Stark’s spot-on performance with the ball. He not only defended nine in the final over, which was against the set batsman Dhruv Jurlel and Shimron Hetmyer, but also limited Rajasthan to 11 runs in the super over.

KL Rahul and Triston Stabs comfortably guided the domestic side to win their first win of the season at Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Stark was named Player of the Match for his power-pack bowling performance in the match. He returned with 1-36 figures in his four overs, while he scored two in the super over.

The victory helped Delhi regain the top position with 10 points in six matches and will take the Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday.
