PWHL Vancouver named Brian Idalsky as the first coach

PWHL Vancouver nominated Brian Idalsky as the first head coach of the expansion club on Monday.
54 -year -old Idalski spent the last three sessions as the head coach of the St. Cloud State Women’s Hockey Program.
General Manager Kara Gardner More said, “Bryan is a proven winner who knows our sports, players, and coaching at the highest level.” “Whatever is in Bryan’s experience, it is his ability to change the creation and changes of programs that are turning from their work in the professional league, in the Olympics, and the collegiate teams into the national level rank contenders. I am excited that he will lead our incredible group in Vancouver and not wait to see our vision and impact in Vancouver.”
He first led the college in Visconsin-Stivans Point (2001-06) and North Dakota (2007–17) before serving as the head coach of Chinese professional team Shenzhen KRS Venke Rez from 2019-22.
Idalski also coached the Chinese women’s national team at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.
“I feel very lucky to have an opportunity to join an organization like Vancouver and the city and thank Kara and the League for their faith and faith,” Idalski said. “PWHL has had great impact on the global game, and to become a part of it – with expansion with helping it further further – is an incredible feeling.”
Idalski recently coached Vancouver’s signators Mishla Kava and Hanna Miller with KRS Venke rays.
