Punjab Kings all -rounder Glenn Maxwell’s Abismal Form continued in IPL 2025 as he was dismissed for only 7 against Kolkata Knight Riders on Saturday. Maxwell, who was purchased for Rs 4.2 crore at a mega auction, returned to play in XI after two matches, but was dismissed cheaply by KKR spinner Varun Chakraborty. Prior to this match, Maxwell scored just 41 runs in the competition, causing a lot of criticism of the two fans as well as experts. On Saturday, Maxwell made a temporary start for his innings and although he slammed a border, a clean bowling was done on the Australian International International Border. Former India batsman Suresh Raina was not happy and gave a cruel verdict on the struggling star.
“I don’t remember that last time Glenn Maxwell scored runs for the team, they have got a lot of opportunities.”
