Punjab Kings Script Unique Record IPL Clash vs during Rajasthan Royals




The Punjab Kings (PBK) batsmen on Sunday achieved a unique achievement during their Indian Premier League (IPL) match against Rajasthan Royals (RR), as their middle order scored the most runs by any team in the same innings in the history of the competition. PBK achieved this feat after falling up to 34/3 after its decision to bat first, between PBKs, the order batsmen made a lot of fireworks to take their team before the 200-run mark. The 67 -run partnership between Skipar Shreyas Iyer (30 in 25 balls, with five fours) and Nehal Wadhera led the team to the team from the 100 -run mark.

Later, a 58 -run stand between Wadhera, which earned 70 in just 37 balls, with five fours and five sixes and Shashank Singh extended him with a 150 -run mark.

In the last five overs, Shashank (with 59*in 30 balls, with five fours and three sixes) and Azmatullah Omarjai (21*in nine balls 21*, three fours and a six) dined with RR pace, taking the team to 219/5 in 20 overs.

Tushar Deshpande (2/37) was a bowlers’ pick for RR.

With this, 180 runs scored together, the middle-order scored a total of 174 runs scored by the middle-order of Mumbai Indians (MI) (Ishaan Kishan 99, Hardik Pandya 15 and Kieron Pollard 60*) against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in IPL 2020 in Dubai.

In response, Dhruv was limited to RR 209/7 despite Jurlel’s half -century.
