The IPL 2025 matches between Punjab Kings (PBK) and Delhi Capital (DC), which was closed on several Indian cities in Pakistan amid air missiles and drone attacks on Thursday, has been prepared for the tournament to start once again. With PBK at 122/1 after 10.1 overs, the match was closed on Thursday, in which technical failure was initially cited as a reason. Since then, the IPL 2025 was relieved for a week. However, if the ceasefire between India and Pakistan is to resume after the ceasefire, the conflict between PBK and DC will be resumed.
According to a report by the Indian Express, the match is to be resumed. Does this mean that it would be resumed from the exact point, it was stopped or was played completely as a new match.
In the match, PBKS’s unaccounted openers Priyash Arya and Prabhasimran Singh once again dazzled. Arya beat a brilliant 70 -run knock off just 34 balls with five borders and six sixes in his innings. Prabhasimran also recorded his half -century, which ended at the early 122 -run stand.
As it stands, the IPL official website counted stability as ‘no result’, showing that it is ready to play perfectly after the tournament starts once again.
Therefore, PBK holds 15 points after 11 matches, while DC has 13 points. A win for Punjab Kings led by Shreyas Iyer will ensure that they become the first team to qualify for the playoffs.
However, the IPL will have many logistic issues to solve before this, as the restart date of the tournament is not yet known. Most of the foreign players have already returned to their home countries, while many local Indian players have returned to their home cities.
