Shota Emnaga came out of the injured list and allowed just one hit in five innings as the Chicago cub vacated St. Louis Cardinals 3–0 on Thursday afternoon.
The cub made his second straight shutout to divide 2–2 in the four-game chain.
Emmanga (4-2) went one and hit three during his first beginning after having recovered from the stress of the hamstring muscle.

The cub played a short ball to make it 3–0 in the eighth innings. Crow-Armystrong led an informed single and finished third on Dansbi Swansan’s single.
With one, Cro-Arcestrong scored, while Swansan got stuck in a randon between the first and second base.
