Playoff hopes extinguished, Flames Age Nights

Morgan Frost scored a goal to win the shootout and once longed in regulation as Calgary won a 5–4 win over Vegas Golden Nights on Tuesday, but it was not enough to keep the hopes of the Stanley Cup playoff of flames alive.
Nazam Qadri collected a goal and one aid, while Mikel Baikalund and Adam Klapka also scored for Calgary (40–27–14, 94 points), which was officially removed from the playoff disputes. Matt Coronato received two assistance.
Flames goalkeeper Dustin Wolf saved 38 through regulation and overtime as Calgary defeated Vegas for the first time in four meetings of teams this season.
Brandon Saad scored a goal in a three-digit game for Vegas (49–22–10, 108 points), which had already achieved the crown of the Pacific Division and rested some major players. Tomas Hurtle of Golden Nights was a goal and a support and Powell Dorophyv and Nicholas Roy added a singles.
Goltender Ilya Samsanov saved 24 through regulation and overtime for Vegas, which would face Minnesota Wilde in the early stages of the playoffs.

The flames were officially abolished before the third period began with both Wilde and St. Louis Blues, but it has not pushed the flames yet to win the flames for another return.
Dorofev scored 5:25 in the competition. His shot from the right circle shut down a defender’s stick and entered the net for his 34th goal of the season.
Five minutes later, the frost struggled by converting a sharp-angle shot from the right circle for the power-play goal, which snatched the 25-game goal drought.
Before the first time, Golden placed Golden Nights by a pair by Roy and Hertle. Roy scored at 14:52 with a breakway tally, and Heart converted the cross-Ice pass from Saad to an early frame with 24 seconds.
From there, both teams erased the deficit. Qadri scored 32 seconds in the third period on a power play, an ideal shot from the top of The Right Circle for his career-high 33rd of the season. Baikaland tied the conflict at 1:04 of the third with a top-shot to the high slot.
