Places were detected for completion of IPL 2025? The report states “all far away …”

According to a report by the Indian Express at the IPL Governing Council, IPL 2025 is far from the Line of Control in the IPL 2025 resume after a week’s suspension, which is a proposed list of five places. The report claimed that Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Kolkata are being considered as the tournament venue. Those places are not close to the areas affected by the stress of India and Pakistan and it can allegedly convince foreign players to return. Amid the ongoing tension, IPL 2025 was suspended for a week and the BCCI said that further calls would be taken after a meeting with stakeholders. According to the report, sources claimed that the two -week window would not be sufficient to finish the tournament and BCCI could resume in September.
The Control Board for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed that IPL 2025 has been suspended with immediate effect, which is for a week in view of the India-Pakistan border tension. The board said that the appointed time would be announced after assessing the new schedule and locations of the tournament.
BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia said in an official statement, “Next updates about the new schedule and venue of the tournament will be declared in the appointed time after comprehensive evaluation of the situation in consultation with relevant officers and stakeholders.”
A decision was taken by the BCCI on Friday after across the border on Thursday night, which led to blackouts in Jammu, Udampur and Pathankot, as air strikes from Pakistan and drones captured the sky. It called the game between Punjab Kings and the capitals of Delhi to the HPCA Stadium in Dharashala, shutting down only after 10.1 overs of the first innings.
Along with the airport in Dharamshala and other Northern Indian cities, both PBK and DC were fired by a bus to take the match officials, commentators, broadcast crew members and other major IPL-related personnel to Jalandhar on Friday morning.
The BCCI further stated that the decision was taken by the IPL Governing Council, which included Saikia and IPL President Arun Dhumal, after the representation of most of the franchisees after consulting all the major stakeholders, who expressed the concerns and feelings of their players and also the ideas of broadcaster, sponsors and fans.
