Phillies Snap Cardinals’ Nine-Game Win Laqir Game 1

Jesus Lujardo played seven impressive innings, as Philadelphia Philos visited the first game of Doubleheader with a 2–1 win on Wednesday with a nine-game winning line of St. Louis Cardinals.
Bryas Harper knocked on Go-Farward Run-C 999th career for RBI-Filadelphia as part of the seventh part, which would be a target for a sweep on Wednesday evening when Aaron Nola opposed Sunny Gray in the battle of veteran.
Lujardo (4–0) allowed one run and five hits with two runs and six strikes. Harper and Rafael Marchin finished with two hits for the Filies, while Jordan Walker knocked into the only run for cardinals.
In the seventh innings, with the game still, Ivan Herrera doubled against Lujardo with one and came to score two-outs on the single single by Walker.
However, the hosts immediately responded against the Reliever Steven Matz (2–1) in half of the bottom. Weston Wilson and Marchen sang a song with one before tying the game with a hit with Bryndon Donovan gloves of Bryson Stot.
After two batsmen, Harper participated in a center area, scoring Maran. Stot was thrown into a plate to eliminate the innings, which seems as it could be expensive when Philadelphia Reliever Jose Alvarado escaped into trouble in the eighth.
Alvarado allowed the first two runners to arrive and they moved to second and third place on a groundout. Phillies turned to Reliever Oran Kerkering, who received Nlanna Arenado to finish the innings on a third strike on a dishonest pop and Wilson Contraction.
Jordan Romano faced all three hits in the ninth for his fourth sev.
After a quiet first innings, both teams placed a pair of runners on the base in the second innings. However, Lujardo Pedro survived the top half by retiring the Pedro Page and Walker, while St. Louis Starter Eric Feddy hit Brandon Marsh in half of the bottom with the first and second place.
Philadelphia again pressurized the sixth, as Trains proceeded with a walk against Fedde, who rebounded to retire the next two hits. Mattz came and hit Max Capler to end the frame.
Fedede beat up a 5 2/3 scorer innings, with three hits and four hits and four walks with four strikes.
